Two teachers from Fearns Community Sports College, in Stacksteads, found an impact holiday to Uganda led them to life changing experiences.
Emma Sweeney and Charlotte Walsh spent 10 days in Uganda encoutering the hardships and savouring the rewards as they helped to build a school, protected people from malaria by paying for and fitting nets and ran art workshops with young children.
Both have vowed to return and are looking to see if there school can forge closer links with Haslingden charity Agapao, organisers of the trip.
