Little Crackers- Jane Horrocks
A Rawtenstall salon was recreated for a hit Sky1 HD comedy Little Crackers starring the Valley’s own Jane Horrocks.
The production was based around a true story of a hair encounter when Rawtenstall-born Jane wanted to emulate her idol Barbra Streisand and against her hairdresser’s advice she plumped for a perm with disastrous consequences.
The drama centres around Antony and Patricia hair salon and Catherine Smyth Media produced a news article as part of the company’s PR work and the story is available to view on About My Area community website. The story was also featured in the Rossendale Free Press on 13th January.
It also features in the latest edition of A&P Snips in the window of Antony and Patricia. The production was shown over the festive season but is still available to view on Sky1 HD.
