March has been another hectic month. My new school Pleckgate High in Blackburn now has an acting headteacher Mark Bradshaw and an introductory news story was written as part of my contract and used in the Lancashire Telegraph.

Forty students from Pleckgate visited the First World War Battlefields in Belgium and here is the link to their story in Asian Image and the winning table tennis team was also featured in Asian Image.

Haslingden High has been a very busy place with nine stories being written this month. Many have featured in the press including the school being among the top 6 in the country and the tables being turned on a student when he was analysed on a psychology trip.

Fearns has also been busy with World Book Day, Sport Relief, holding an industry day and running workshops for the Youth Sacre.

The latest Veterans In Communities newsletter for March has been published and news stories on an arts grant and the VIC choir featured in the Lancashire Telegraph. The veterans also have a full page in the March edition of Veterans World.

I have also had the first two features on Rossendale's voluntary enterprise mentors published in the Rossendale Free Press.

St Mary's News - the termly school newspaper I produce with children from St Mary's RC School, Bacup, will resume after Easter. I was honoured to be the guest of the Mayor of Rossendale who went to thank five girls from the school who organised three fund-raisers for charity. A news story on the visit featured in the Rossendale Free Press and the Lancashire Telegraph.
